The closing ceremony of the Elite Showdown 2025 EAFC Series also became a milestone moment for Maldivian motorsport esports. Ooredoo Nation proudly honored the National Assetto Corsa players with an official jersey handover ceremony.
The top three racers from the national qualifiers, held in August, were:

Ahmed Abdulla Jabir
Ali Shaif Shaheen
From this lineup, Maaish and Jabir qualified to represent the Maldives at the Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship 2025 LAN event in Sri Lanka.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Sports Ministry of Maldives, the Racing Association of Maldives, and members of Ooredoo Maldives leadership, highlighting the national significance of this achievement.
This marks a new chapter for sim racing in the Maldives, as Ooredoo Nation continues to provide opportunities for local talent to compete on the international stage.
