The Ooredoo Nation x FIMBA MLBB Tournament is a closed event in collaboration with the Filipinos in Maldives Basketball Association (FIMBA), now a vibrant Filipino community empowerment group. This tournament is an exciting opportunity for FIMBA members to connect, compete, and build a stronger sense of camaraderie through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
A. GUIDELINES
a. Participants of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament/competition shall meet the following qualifications:
i. Participants must be presently located in Maldives from the date of registration to the date of execution of games.
ii. Participants shall have registered through the MS Forms provided in the FIMBA Facebook Page.
iii. Participants agree to adhere to the rules and regulations of the competition as deemed by the decision of the marshals and the committee.
b. Each team must consist of the following provisions:
1. All members of each team should only be Filipinos currently living in Maldives.
2. Members must have an eligible MLBB account available on their own devices.
3. Roster Size: Teams will be required to have at least five (5) and no more than six (6) on their roster.
4. Substitutions: Teams may freely field any five of their six players from their active roster before the start of the match.
c. The general guidelines in addition to the rules shall guide the competition:
1. The competition will be played at round robin setup, and each team will face other teams once.
2. The top four teams who acquire the most wins will battle in the Semifinals.
3. Side Selection. A coin flip shall determine the respective sides and colors of each team. The winning team of the coin flip can decide between the blue or red team. The opposing team will be given the color that the winning team did not choose.
B. GAME RULES
a. The rules established in these guidelines must be strictly followed and observed by all players and officials involved in the match. These guidelines establish a comprehensive structure to manage Mobile Legends: Bang Bang games while encouraging fair play and sportsmanship among all participants. The FIMBA Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament shall comply to the following regulations:
i. Game Mode. The competition will utilize the custom draft pick game mode.
ii. Map. The competition will utilize the Imperial Sanctuary map.
iii. Spectators Mode. The competition will only allow the staff and facilitators to be in the spectators mode.
b. Rulebook: Players will need to check in 30 minutes before the tournament starts.
c. In-Game Pause. Marshalls may pause the game for any reason. Marshalls should inform both teams the reason for pausing the game. Once the marshals are prepared to resume, both teams should indicate their readiness in chat and come to agreement (e.g. by typing “g” or “game”).
d. Pause Allowance. During the match, marshals may pause the game for a maximum of 10 minutes. If the game is paused for longer than the allowed time, it will be considered unfair play, and penalties will be applied at the discretion of tournament officials. (This might be extended based on the specific issue causing the pause.)
e. Disconnection. The member/ team should reconnect immediately after disconnection.
f. Remake. Remakes can only happen for the following reason: Game Breaking Bugs. If an in-game bug occurs that can break the flow and balance of the game.
g. Players may only request for a remake up only until any creeps are not damaged by any hero in the game (Subject for approval only).
C. POINT VALUES AND CATEGORIES OF WINNERS
a. Winners will be categorized as the following:
i. Champion.
ii. Second Place.
iii. Third Place.
b. Special Awards
i. Most Valuable Player
c. Scoring System
i. Each game is played until a team destroys all the towers and the base of the opposing team.

Preliminaries will be Single Round-Robin matches with the following point system:
Win = 1 pt
Lose = 0pt
iii. Only Top 8 teams will advance on the Main event after the Preliminaries. In case of a Tie, a single match will be held to determine the proper placement for the ranking.
iv. Top 4 Teams will be designated to the Upper Bracket while the remaining 4 teams to be placed on the Lower Bracket. (See Diagram)
v. Matches for the Rounds 1 until the Semi-Finals will only be single-matches. Losing team from the Upper bracket may still have the chance to move forward in the lower bracket.
vi. Losing teams in the Lower bracket will be automatically eliminated after each match.
vii. The final team from both Upper and Lower Bracket will match in a Best of Three (3) game.
D. PENALTIES AND VIOLATIONS
a. Team Violations Clause
i. Lack of players. If starting members do not reach four people.
1. If teams don’t have enough players to play at the scheduled time, the team will be given 15 minutes.
2. If after 15 minutes and the team still doesn’t have enough players to play, the game will have defaulted. If a team did not show up to their scheduled game, they are considered forfeit.
3. Penalty. Disqualification.

b. Game Violations Clause
i. Unfair Play
1. Collusion. Deliberately losing a game for compensation, or any other reason, or seeking another person to do so.
2. Exploiting. Intentional use of any in-game bugs or any feature that is not operating as intended to gain an advantage.
3. Ghosting. Use of another player’s account or soliciting, inducing, encouraging, or directing someone else to use another player’s account.
4. Profanity and Hate Speech. Each player must not use language that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, or otherwise offensive or objectionable. Each player must not promote or incite hatred or discriminatory conduct. This regulation applies to public social media, live broadcasting, and player communications during the competition.
ii. Behavioral and Sportsmanship
1. Participants must be respectful to everyone in the tournament/competition. This regulation includes but is not limited to players and staff.
2. Participants must not use any discriminatory language, including but not limited to ethnicity, nationality, rage, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or personal beliefs.
3. Participants must not use any form of extreme foul language, including but not limited to excessive profanity or language that is graphically sexual, grotesque, or violent.
4. Participants must not harass, stalk, or intentionally do any action to make someone else feel uncomfortable or threatened.
iii. Upon a completed investigation of any Team Member committing any violations and misconduct, FIMBA may, without limitation of its authority issue the following sanctions/penalties:
a. Verbal Warning
b. Prize Forfeiture
c. Game Forfeiture
d. Match Forfeiture
e. Player Suspension
f. Team Disqualification
E. INTERRUPTIONS
a. Technical Issues
i. If a player disconnects, the match should be paused immediately.
ii. Teams can request a rematch for severe technical issues at the discretion of the tournament organizers.
b. Substitutions
i. Pre-match: Teams can make substitutions between maps or before the match begins.
ii. In-game: No substitutions are allowed once the match has started.
