General Information

Welcome to the FC25 Tournament! These rules and regulations are designed to ensure fair play, maintain a competitive environment, and provide a positive experience for all participants.

Game Title: FC25

Platform: PlayStation 5

Match Type: 1v1

Venue: Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters, Hulhumale



Game Settings


The following game settings will be used for all matches:

Half Length: 5 or 9 minutes depending on NOP.

Game Speed: Normal

Weather: Clear

Injuries: Off

Offsides: On

Handballs: Off

Camera Setting: Tele

Teams Allowed: Official Teams Only

Custom Tactics: Allowed

Controller Settings: Competitive

Pause Limit: 3 pause per game


Tournament Formats

The tournament will utilise one of the following formats, determined by the number of participants:

Single Elimination: A straightforward bracket where a single loss eliminates a player.

Double Elimination: Players have two chances to advance, being eliminated after two losses.

Round Robin: Each player faces every other player in a group, with standings determined by points.



Player Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain a high level of sportsmanship and respect throughout the tournament.

Unacceptable behaviour includes:


Harassment: Any form of verbal or written abuse directed at other players or tournament staff.

Cheating: Exploiting glitches, using unauthorised software, or any other form of unfair play.

Collusion: Working with other players to manipulate match outcomes.

Excessive Delay: Intentionally stalling or delaying matches.

Impersonation: Pretending to be another player.


Disqualification Rules

Violation of the Player Conduct rules, or any other attempt to gain an unfair advantage, may result in disqualification from the tournament. Tournament Admins reserve the right to make the final decision on all disqualifications.


Disconnections/Hardware Issues

In the event of a disconnection or hardware issue:

- If the disconnection occurs within the first 5 in-game minutes, the match will be restarted.

- If the disconnection occurs after 5 in-game minutes, the player who disconnected will forfeit the match, unless the opponent agrees to replay the game from the point of disconnection, recreating the score and remaining time.

- Hardware issues are the responsibility of the player. The tournament will not be paused or delayed due to individual hardware problems.


Result Reporting

The winner of each match is responsible for reporting the result to a designated tournament admin via Discord. Screenshots of the final score are required as proof. Results must be reported within 15 minutes of match completion.


Player Equipment

Players are responsible for providing their own equipment, including:

Admin Decisions

Tournament Admins have the final say on all rulings and interpretations of these rules. Their decisions are binding and cannot be appealed. Admins reserve the right to modify these rules at any time, with reasonable notice to the participants.
